1. Download the above attached font Rupee.ttf or the new version Rupee_Foradian.ttf
2. Install the font. (It is easy. Just copy the font and paste it in "Fonts" folder in control panel)
3. Start using it. :)
How to type the Rupee symbol ?
We mapped the grave acent symbol - ` (the key just above "tab" button in your keyboard) with the new Rupee symbol. Just select "Rupee" font from the drop down list of your fonts in your application and press the key just above your tab button. It will display our new rupee symbol. Try it.

Hi, i have downloaded and installed the font. However when I press ALT with 0096 the border and shading option opens. Please suggest.

font is working properly it may not be visible due to some step you missed..

2.install it
3.open Ms word
4.then enter any character
5.select the invisible typed work
6.Type 0096 while holding down "alt" key on your keyboard.

Even I tried using the alt+0096, but it did not work, i m on Windows 7.
