Easiest Way To Install Windows 7 From Pen Drive- Flash Drive

Install Microsoft Windows 7 From Pen Drive..Yes now there is no need to have a optical drive to install windows 7. So don't worry about a new net book without an optical drive or always happening problem of  "DVD drive not working". Just follow the followings steps and Enjoy your Windows.



Minimum Requirements:

1. You will need a flash drive of minimum 4GB capacity - Format it to NTFS system.
2. Windows 7 installation files, DVD or ISO image.
3. Freeware from Microsoft - Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.

Now follow steps given below:
1. If you do not have the ISO image of the operating system setup, then create the image from the DVD using MagicISO or Free ISO Creator (Free & Recommended).
2. Now download and save this tool from Microsoft:

If you are a Windows XP user, then the following applications must be installed prior to installing the tool:

* Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed. It can be downloaded here.
* Microsoft Image Mastering API v2 must be installed. It can be downloaded here.


Now, after installing the tool, use it to create a bootable flash drive with Windows 7 installation files in it:
STEP #1:
Launch the tool and locate/browse the ISO image file, in the Source File box. Click Next.

Now, select USB Device to create a copy on a USB flash drive.

Select your USB device in the drop-down list and click Begin copying.

Your Bootable Flash drive is now ready.

STEP #4:
Now boot your netbook or Computer from your flash drive (same as you boot from a DVD/CD, either by changing the boot order in you BIOS setup while the flash drive/pendrive is plugged in or by hitting F8/F12 keys during system start up) and follow the Windows 7 installation procedure.

NOTE: In Asus Netbooks, you have to Disable Boot Booster via the BIOS, so as to boot the netbook from USB.
