Let me start by saying Beyonce’s 4 album leaked before the June 28 official release. I was one of many who was able to listen to it, and I will still purchase the official album. If you downloaded the album illegally, I suggest you do the same. Beyonce’s die hard fans were not pleased that the album was leaked and neither was I. With that being stated, Beyonce released the following statement regarding the album leak:
“My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs, she wrote.”
