Story of The Three Musketeers is centered on D’Artagnan, a young man who leaves home to become a member of the fighting force of the French king’s royal household. Along the way, he will meet force’s best but most disgraced Three Musketeers. D’Artagnan unite with three formerly legendary Musketeers Aramis, Athos and Porthos to prevent a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer Cardinal Richelieu (Christoph Waltz) from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. Three Musketeers story was published in 1844 and written by Alexander Dumas.

The Three Musketeers Story
Famous Three Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis steal highly coveted project designs from a high-security vault; the sweet success is short lived. Their beautiful partner in crime, Milady drugs the Musketeers and sells the designs to a higher bidder, the Duke of Buckingham. It’s a major blow to the famed Musketeers. Three years later, D’Artagnan met the three Musketeers on his way. He left his home to become a Musketeer.
The conning Cardinal Richelieu make a deadly plot to over throw the young King Louis. He employs the double agent Milady to do the dirty work. He frames the King’s new bride, Queen Anne in an affair with Buckingham. If the King buys into the lie, war with England will follow, the Queen will die and the people of France will demand a strong leader thus Richelieu becomes the king. If the King doesn’t buy into the lie, peace may yet stand a chance. But to ensure peace, the three Musketeers and their young apprentice must undertake their most dangerous mission ever to receive a priceless diamond necklace from the impregnable Tower of London and return it to the Queen in time for an important ball.
